Frequently Asked Questions
"What are "Out of Network Benefits" and how do I use them?"
When health care providers are out of network, it means they do not participate directly with an insurance company. Many of my patience utilize insurance "out of network benefits" to pay for therapy. I'll happily provide documentation necessary for utilizing these benefits, and often support patients in this process.

Steps to Use OON Benefits:
1. Review your insurance benefits plan to ensure you have OON coverage; ask about co-insurance and deductibles
2. Pay your therapist/provider at the time of service
3. Therapist/provider will you a "Superbill" with information regarding the services you received
4. Login to your insurance portal, and "submit a claim" by uploading the Superbill
5. insurance will process the OON claim, and send you reimbursement for the service (if your plan has coverage)
"Do I qualify for a sliding scale discount?"
I gladly offer temporary and long term sliding scale rates for therapy services to support individuals who are underinsured, lack financial resources to pay for therapy, or are going through financial hardship. Please don't hesitate to discuss sliding scale so I can best support you!
